Vendor Chris Suter was on the Ventura College campus May 1, hosting a one-day-only art sale.
Suter represents Glendale-based company CLN Quality Framed Art, which travels to colleges and universities as far as Chicago to sell artwork for the benefit of student activities, and also to make a living.
“A lot of students like to look at Monets, Vincent Van Goghs and Ansel Adamses,” Suter said. “Students like the prices and the selections.” The majority of the prints for sale started as low as $9.99.
“There were quite a few that caught my eye,” Kamika McKnight, a VC nursing major, said. “The hardest part was picking the perfect one.”
