As the semester comes to a close, many Ventura College students are preparing for the Spring 2008 graduation ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday, May 14 at 1:30 in the Ventura College Athletic Center.

To qualify for graduation, students must see a Ventura College counselor to verify that all necessary course work is complete for the Associate’s Degree or Nursing Degree.

Qualified graduates can now buy caps, gowns, and tassels for the ceremony for $32.50 at  www.jostens.com/college or in the bookstore from April 14 to May 12.  There will also be an ordering event on Monday April 7th from 10 am to 2 pm outside the Ventura College bookstore.

A graduation breakfast will be held the morning of the ceremony  from 9 am to 10 am in the VC dining room. Breakfast will be free for graduates and $5 tickets will be one sale for guests. Reservations are required for the breakfast by Monday, May 12 and can be made at the student business office.

Diplomas are now available for Fall 2007 graduates in the admissions office. For spring graduates, diplomas will be available in July, and for summer graduates, in October.
